Vote via Early Mail Ballot:

Any registered voter may apply for an early mail ballot. Each person must apply for themselves. Elections must receive applications by mail or online by Saturday, October 24, and in-person applications are accepted through Monday, November 2.

You may apply for an early mail ballot in any of the following ways:

• You can download a PDF version of the New York State Early Mail Ballot Application Form using the links below:

• By going in-person to your local county board of elections
• By designating another person to deliver your application in-person to the Delaware County Board of Elections and receive your ballot

You may return the ballot in any of the following ways for the November 3, 2026 General Election:

1. Put it in the mail ensuring it receives a postmark no later than November 3rd. Must be received by the County Board of Elections no later than November 10th.
2. Bringing it to your County Board of Elections Office no later than November 3rd by 9pm.
3. Bringing it to an early voting poll site in your county between October 24th and November 1st.
4. Bringing it to a poll site in your county on November 3rd by 9pm.

Vote Early in Delhi: Oct 24-Nov 1, 2026

Voting during early voting is the same as voting on Election Day.

Early voting for Delaware County registered voters will take place at the Board of Elections Office 97 Main St, Suite 5 Delhi NY 13753. Here are the days and times you can vote early:

• Saturday October 24 – 9AM to 5PM
• Sunday October 25 – 9AM to 5PM
• Monday October 26 – 8:30AM to 4:30PM
• Tuesday October 27 – 8:30AM to 8PM
• Wednesday October 28 – 8:30AM to 8PM
• Thursday October 29 – 8:30AM to 4:30PM
• Friday October 30 – 8:30AM to 4:30PM
• Saturday October 31 – 9AM to 5PM
• Sunday November 1 – 9AM to 5PM

When you get to the early voting center, you will check in to vote, receive your ballot and vote as any other election. There will be instructions available at the early voting centers to familiarize you with the ballot. There will also be a notice to voter and bill of rights. You may ask an election inspector to explain how to vote, or if you need any assistance.

If you vote during the early voting period, you are not eligible to vote on Election Day. More information >>

Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2026 from 6am to 9pm.
