Stephanie Munro is proud to call upstate New York her lifelong home. Born and raised in Chenango County, she has lived in Meredith for the past decade, where she and her family have become deeply rooted in the community. Stephanie’s husband, Robb, joined the athletics department at SUNY Delhi 13 years ago, and together they are raising three energetic boys who keep them busy and inspired. As a local business owner, Stephanie provides physical therapy services to the community, blending her professional expertise with her commitment to helping others.
Stephanie brings valuable experience and skills to her candidacy for local office. Her background includes managerial roles that have equipped her with a strong understanding of budgeting and resource management. As a solopreneur, she has gained hands-on experience in running a successful business. From managing revenue cycles and analyzing performance metrics to crafting marketing strategies and driving sales, Stephanie has honed her ability to lead, problem-solve, and listen to those she serves. She is dedicated to fostering open communication and building strong connections within the community.
Stephanie’s passion for community involvement is evident through her support of local youth programming. She has sponsored and co-coached youth baseball, has sponsored and been a coach for youth soccer for four years, and recently co-founded Lightning Legs, a youth track club that introduces children to track and field. She and Robb devote their evenings and weekends to coaching and mentoring young athletes. Stephanie also sponsors local initiatives, including Rotary club programs, recognizing the importance of these efforts in sustaining a vibrant community.
If elected, Stephanie is committed to leveraging her skills and vision to strengthen Meredith’s local government. She aims to foster closer ties among residents, improve transparency and communication, and ensure effective management of town business. Her leadership philosophy centers on empowering residents to feel confident in the decision-making process, trust that their voices are heard, and stay informed about developments impacting the community. Stephanie also looks forward to representing Meredith at the county level, advocating for the town’s interests.
